Ben Hewlett (pictured above with some of the instruments he plays) started in music at the age of ten in 1969 learning the trumpet. He was given his first harmonica twenty years ago and qualified as a Music Workshop Leader at Goldsmiths University of London in 1995.  He has worked full time in teaching music in a variety of settings including working with those with learning difficulties.  Ben is also a regular guest lecturer on cruise ships where he runs enrichment harmonica workshops for around 100 passengers at a time.

Emma Pyott                                          Darrell Thompson

Emma Pyott  and Darrell Thompson are responsible for Marketing and Business Development and have been instrumental in making Ben’s vision for a Corporate Workshop a reality.  In addition to extensive PR and Marketing experience both Emma and Darrell are practised in project and event management.  Their experience of the Corporate world combined with Ben’s expertise in motivating and enthusing people through music will ensure that each Blues Jam Factory experience will be one to remember.

Paul Lennon plays guitar, violin, bass, piano, drums and keyboards, all to session and concert standard. He is also a teacher and composer of some note. Paul owns a well-equipped recording studio in Kent and he writes all the Blues Jam Factory material.
